Chapter 28 Go Back to Her Parents’ Home Together
Mu Li was embarrassed.
“Lin Qing…” In a hoarse voice, he tried to warn her.
But Lin Qing was too focused on that hot thing, and she didn’t hear Mu Li call her at all.
Mu Li looked awful.
Why didn’t Lin Qing become a scientist as she liked exploring so much? His mouth twitched.
At the moment, Lin Qing seemed to have forgotten that she had to get out of this strange position, and being smothered, she even didn’t feel uncomfortable.
However, the one who felt uncomfortable at this moment was not her, but Mu Li, who was turned on by her.

Being rubbed by Lin Qing’s little hands, Mu Li’s body underwent some subtle changes. He felt like on fire and became even harder with Lin Qing’s pinch and rub.
Did this woman learn nothing about sex education? Mu Li rolled his eyes.
He called Lin Qing again, but it seemed Lin Qing still didn’t hear him.
Mu Li doubted if Lin Qing was deliberately sent for to torture him.
Whatever! Mu Li grabbed her restless little hand and held it up.
She was thrown aside by him quickly and rudely before she tried to see it carefully.
The threat was gone, and Mu Li heaved a sigh of relief.
Even though he was a righteous gentleman, he wouldn’t be able to withstand such temptation.
Lin Qing, who was thrown aside, stared between Mu Li’s legs and recalled what happened just now. She tried to work it out but failed.
“Mu Li…”
Looking pitiful, Lin Qing called Mu Li.
With such a look and scene, it seemed as if Mu Li were the one that had done something wrong.
It was truly irritating.
“Eh?” Mu Li looked at her in the eye and waited for an apology.
However, Lin Qing pointed right next to him and said, “Pillow.”
Wasn’t she going to do something for what she had done?
Mu Li was pissed off.
Slightly frowning and looking down, Lin Qing looked like a child who had been robbed of toys.
Relaxed and carefree, she seemed spoiled.
Soft-hearted by her look, Mu Li handed her the pillow before he realized what he was doing.
Mu Li thought, probably he owed Lin Qing too much in his previous life, and he had to pay her back in this life.
“But I seem to have touched something strange just now.” While recalling, she glanced at Mu Li and hugged the pillow in her arms.
Mu Li became silent.
Unexpectedly, Lin Qing continued —
“It’s like…it felt alright.”
…
Lin Qing leaned forward as Mu Li remained silent. She asked with concern, “Your look awful. Are you sick?”
Mu Li thought, if she continued to do so, he would definitely fall ill.
Ever since Lin Qing was grounded, she had behaved much better. From the moment Mu Li helped her ask for leave from the company, she almost never contacted anyone else and lived a simple life every day.
And Lin Qing in this place was no different from her usual self.
Mu Li thought, even if he sent her to a place in the middle of nowhere, she would probably remain calm and carefree as usual, and wouldn’t be worried at all.
Somehow, Mu Li found it very soothing looking at her.
This peace of mind lasted till the day he accompanied Lin Qing to her parents’ home.
On that day, Lin Qing woke up very early. At a quarter past six, she was already combing her waterfall-like long hair quietly front of the dressing table.
Her black hair fell down, which added to her a touch of femininity.
Mu Li woke up at such a fantastic scene.
He realized she not only had a pretty and adorable feature but also a beautiful figure.
Mu Li felt he had great taste.
Lin Qing combed her hair very slowly, and Mu Li just lay there motionless and watched her.
After a while, she finished combing and pinned them behind her ears. She didn’t turn around or raise her head, and said,
“My mom makes really delicious pork ribs. You will be able to taste her food today.”
Mu Li was stunned. He looked around. Probably Lin Qing saw him in the mirror just now.
After a pause Lin Qing added, “My mom cooks ten times better than me.”
Her tone was soft. It didn’t seem bragging and sounded pleasing.
Mu Li raised his eyebrows and said, “She is our mom.”
Lin Qing looked at him through the mirror, stayed blank-faced for a while and nodded, “Yes, our mom.”
Mu Li got out of bed, walked to her back and stopped. With one hand on her shoulder, he said, “When would you be able to bear it in mind?”
Lin Qing tilted her head and said, “Haven’t I been bearing it in mind as always?”
When Mu Li and Lin Qing knocked on her parents’ door, her mom was preparing the last dish in the kitchen.
Her dad opened the door, beaming with delight.
“Qingqing is back!” Her dad warmly welcomed her. But he looked a bit awkward when Mu Li entered the house.
Mu Li immediately knew what to do. After stepping into the hallway, he held Lin Qing around her shoulders and said, “Dad.”
This call made Lin Qing’s father completely relieved. He replied a few more times, and hurriedly went to find slippers for them to change into.
In comparison, Lin Qing was much calmer.
She was calm as water, as if she had brought a friend home for a meal.
Lin Qing’s mother, who was busy cooking in the kitchen, heard the noise at the door and got out for a look. The moment she walked out of the kitchen, she felt overjoyed at her daughter and son-in-law entering into the house.
“Qingqing, you two sit down and I will get the meal ready soon!” Lin Qing’s mother returned in much higher spirits.
“OK.” Lin Qing nodded and said, “Mom, let me help you.”
She sounded so naturally as if she had never left home. Mu Li thought that probably Lin Qing had often helped her mother this way when she used to be at home.
In her world, “change” probably was a strange concept.
But Lin Qing didn’t come back home often, how could Lin Qing’s mother have the heart to allow her to get busy in the kitchen? Lin Qing’s mother felt much relieved when she saw Lin Qing snuggle up to Mu Li.
“Don’t bother. It’s fine for you two to just sit there!” After saying this, Lin Qing’s mother went back to the kitchen.
Lin Qing’s father poured tea for them, had some chit-chat with them, and went to the kitchen to help her mother.
Mu Li thought their family couldn’t be happier.
But Lin Qing dropped her head and looked hurtful when she noticed that her father treated her as a guest.
Mu Li spotted the scene.
He knew very well that it was all because of his identity. But there would be no point in making more explanation if her parents couldn’t get used to him.
It was just…
Lin Qing dropped her head like an injured kitten, which made Mu Li felt sorry for her.
“Lin Qing, show me your room.” Mu Li held her hands, which were a little cold.
Lin Qing kept her head dropped but nodded after a while.
Her room was not big, but things inside were tidily placed. Mu Li walked in the front, and he looked around as he entered the room.
The off-white wall on the left was occupied by certificates of merit.
That was what probably every child would experience in their childhood: treasure commendation at school and post red certificates of merit on the wall.
So did Lin Qing.
Mu Li looked at those certificates carefully.
It indeed proved Lin Qing’s being a good little girl.
Mu Li looked away from the wall, and then he realized there weren’t many objects in her room. Other than a single bed, a wardrobe, and a dresser, there was no other furniture.
The objects on the dresser were neatly placed as well.
Mu Li could almost picture Lin Qing’s usual state of life from these things.
The curtains in the room were only half drawn, and as the sun moved, there was faint sunlight shedding into the room.
Mu Li’s eyes swept across the floor, and he finally found out something unusual in this room. When he was about to walk to the window, Lin Qing gently grabbed him by the sleeve.
“Dad called us. Let’s get out for dinner.” As Lin Qing spoke, she let go his sleeve.
However, before she managed to do so, Mu Li grabbed her hand and held it in his. His hands were big and strong with the charm of a mature man.
And they were as warm as the sun.
Lin Qing was led out of the bedroom by Mu Li, heart pounding.
At the dinner table, Mu Li treated Lin’s parents as his own parents, and also took good care of Lin Qing.
Lin Qing’s mother unconsciously mentioned that “Qingqing likes ribs”, so Mu Li always put some ribs in Lin Qing’s bowl.
Besides, Mu Li always spoke after Lin Qing’s parents finished talking. He had never interrupted them or showed any impatience.
Lin Qing was touched by Mu Li’s care, and felt very sweet.
Just like a sip of honey.
“Mu Li, what are your favorite dishes? I’ll cook them for you next time you come.” Lin Qing’s mother offered an olive branch.
Mu Li wasn’t a picky man, he said, “It’s fine to just cook what Lin Qing likes. I like whatever she likes.”
Hearing this, Lin Qing was stunned. She felt like her head was spinning a little, as if she were drunk.
Lin Qing’s mother was already grinning from ear to ear.
After this meal, the way Lin Qing’s parents looked at Mu Li was transformed.
Actually, all they wanted was Mu Li cared about Lin Qing, and his identity didn’t matter at all.
While Lin Qing was helping with the washing in the kitchen, her mother closed the door and whispered to her, “Qingqing, you must behave carefully at the Mu’s. It’s not like at our own home. You have to make concessions at most of the time. Do you understand that?”
Lin Qing was looking down and rinsing oil stains on the bowls, and she nodded.
What worried Lin Qing’s mother the most was her personality. It was more or less difficult for her to fit in that kind of family. However, after she saw that Mu Li was quite attentive to Lin Qing, she let it go.
Before they left, Lin Qing’s mother handed a small jar to Lin Qing.
Lin Qing looked at the jar and her eyes suddenly became sore.
It was lemon handmade tea prepared by Lin Qing’s mother.
Mu Li noticed that there was something wrong with Lin Qing.
After returning from her parents’ home, she had been spending most of her time in a trance while holding a jar in her arms at most of the time.
There was definitely something wrong with that jar of lemon tea.
Mu Li wanted to figure it out, but he didn’t manage to get her attention after spinning around her for a few times. He was really upset.
“Lin Qing.” At sunset, Mu Li came behind Lin Qing and called her.
Her silhouette against the setting sun looked somewhat lonely.
But this time, Lin Qing had a response.
“Eh?” She replied with indifference, still holding the jar in her arms.
Looking at her concentrated expression, Mu Li didn’t know why he felt somewhat upset.
Therefore, he took the jar out of Lin Qing’s arms.
The other reason why Mu Li wanted to find it out was that he liked drinking lemon tea very much. However, Lin Qing probably didn’t know about this yet.
