Chapter 2 Her Crush was Married.
She was Chen Qudong’s junior schoolmate, and they were fairly close in college years. She had a crush on him. Several good friends of Chen Qudong also knew that.
Today was the big day for Chen Qudong. His good friends would certainly be there. She didn’t want them to find her, or meet their sympathetic looks.
For a long time, Lin Qing was curious about whether Chen Qudong had heard from his friends about her crush on him.
If he had, why did he neither refuse nor accept it? She was put in a difficult position and couldn’t do anything but be his good friend.
However, it didn’t matter anymore.
Because he was getting married today. And the bride was not her.
Thinking of this, Lin Qing felt her heart stung. She sensed someone sitting next to her, but didn’t pay much attention.

She had always been quiet and slow.
Her best friend abroad once commented that she was like a turtle.
In fact, if Lin Qing turned her head slightly, she would be amazed by the man sitting next to her.
That man was wearing a fancy handmade suit and a pair of spotless leather shoes. Being indifferent and alienated, he leaned on the chair lazily, with his legs crossed gracefully. His was a natural and aggressive king.
As soon as he sat down, he attracted the eyes of countless women.
At seven o’clock sharp, the wedding started.
To the tune of Wedding March, the bride was led out by her father towards the groom at the end of the red carpet.
The groom took the bride’s hand from his father-in-law, and then the officiator asked if the new couple were willing to marry each other, stand by each other in heath and in sickness, and love each other till death do them apart.
There was no doubt that the bridegroom and the bride smiled happily and said simultaneously, “I do.”
At that moment, Lin Qing burst into tears.
The man she fell in love with since her sophomore year at university had finally…became someone else’s husband.
She seemed to hear herself saying to Chen Qudong in the bottom of her heart: goodbye, Chen. Goodbye, my crush…
Mu Li was drawn to Lin Qing by her tears. He frowned at the sight of her tears — he hated tear.
He chose this seat by her because he thought this woman was quiet enough.
It was until a moment ago when she looked up that he could see her face.
It turned out that hidden in the long black hair was a small, gorgeous and fine face. Her black eyes were so beautiful and expressive.
Before Mu Li looked away, he saw tears oozed out of her eyes without warning.
Large drops of tears dripped down her white face and dropped on the back of her hand.
More interesting, she cried so quietly without making a sound.
Mu Li did not believe she was moved by the wedding. He looked at the couple, suddenly felt it interesting.
The bride and groom had exchanged rings, and the officiator announced, “now – the groom may kiss the bride!”
Over the crowd’s cheering, Chen Qudong gently embraced Liang Ruoyi, and kissed her on the lips.
At the same time –
Lin Qing grabbed a glass of Chinese Alcohol off the table and drank it up.
Chinese Alcohol at the wedding was usually strong and mellow that common girls could not stand. But Lin Qing dried a glass of it without even a frown.
Mu Li began to wonder, what kind of thing would cause a crack in her calm expression?
On the other side, after drinking up a glass, she noticed the burning sensation of alcohol in her throat could actually ease the pain of heartbreak. So she had her eyes on the bottle of Chinese Alcohol in the center of the table.
Mu Li noticed her look and raised his eyebrows with interest, wondering what would she do–
Suddenly, Lin Qing took the whole bottle and drank it.
Mu Li inadvertently raised his eyebrows – was she using alcohol to brave herself to make a scene?
