My Fierce Tigress Wife - Chapter 205 - After the Battle
“I’m a big kid now. You can’t kiss me anymore.”
Big Treasure’s serious appearance caused the mirth in Wang Hu’s eyes to become even stronger. He ignored his son’s resistance and gave him another kiss.
This little fellow…
How dare he resist.
Big Treasure pouted and looked at his father as though he was very angry.
On the other hand, Little Treasure widened her eyes and reached out for her mother while protesting, “I don’t want Daddy to kiss me.”

How could Wang Hu possibly let her off the moment he heard what she said? He leaned over and kissed her right away, landing another big kiss on her delicate little cheek.
He was still intending to tease the two little fellows some more when Di Baijun couldn’t stand to watch it anymore.
She smacked the rascal lightly. “Alright, that’s enough. How old do you think you already are? Don’t tease them anymore.”
A smiling Wang Hu didn’t say anything, though he gave the two little fellows another big kiss each before he finally felt like he had mildly expressed some of his feelings.
He looked at Silly Girl gently and asked curiously, “Why are the three of you here?”
By right, it was impossible for Silly Girl and the two little fellows to show up here.
He formed a few guesses in his mind, upon which a heartwarming feeling couldn’t help but come over him.
Di Baijun’s eyes, which also contained mirth, immediately froze.
Her eyes shifted left and right for a moment. When she caught sight of the two little fellows, she immediately improvised and said casually, “Big Treasure and Little Treasure wanted to come out for a walk, so I brought them out.”
The moment the two little fellows—who were currently looking at their father angrily—heard what she said, two adorable little heads immediately swung toward their mother with a whoosh.
Their big, innocent eyes were filled with curiosity and puzzlement.
But Big Treasure (Little Treasure) didn’t say he (she) wants to come out for a walk.
Before we knew it, Mommy had already brought us out.
They were just about to voice their thoughts when they realized that their mother had turned toward them and that the look in her eyes seemed somewhat dangerous.
At once, even though they didn’t know the reason why, the two little fellows nevertheless instinctively lowered their heads.
Wang Hu resisted the urge to laugh and patted the two aggrieved little fellows.
As expected of Silly Girl, indeed. She had found such a wonderful excuse.
It was so wonderful that even he didn’t feel like exposing her anymore.
Really, couldn’t she just be honest and say that she was worried about him?
They were husband and wife, yet they didn’t even have this bit of faith between the two of them.
He secretly grumbled a little in amusement. On the surface, though, he said, “Just as well. It’s been so long since we’ve brought Big Treasure and Little Treasure out for a walk. Let’s go for a longer walk this time, then.”
Di Baijun nodded and mentally breathed a sigh of relief.
No matter what, she had ultimately found an excuse to explain her actions.
Otherwise…
The thought of it alone was enough to make her somewhat embarrassed. Was she able to say that it was because she had been worried about the rascal?
Of course not.
She was the great Paragon of Tigers. How could she act like a little girl and worry about a man who was engaged in battle outside?
She wasn’t like that for sure.
Besides, should she really say it out loud, wouldn’t that weird guy let his imagination run wild and push his luck?
She absolutely mustn’t.
She was still proudly thinking to herself when she suddenly glanced at the two little fellows again.
An odd and fascinating thought sprung up in her mind.
The two little fellows were certainly very useful sometimes.
After that, Wang Hu—who was in a fantastic mood—and Di Baijun started to fly toward the Tiger King’s Cave at a leisurely pace while admiring the scenery along the way.
One must admit that ever since the awakening of spiritual energy, it was as if every part of the world—especially nature—had regained an all-new vitality and vigor and had become much more beautiful than before.
For their own reasons, both Wang Hu and Di Baijun also showed great rapport and refrained from talking about anything else. Instead, the two of them toured the area fairly enjoyably.
As for the two little fellows, both of them were in a huff, seemingly somewhat unhappy.
However, both Wang Hu and his wife weren’t in the mood to pay any attention to them at this point. It would do as long as they didn’t cry.
More than ten minutes later, Big Treasure couldn’t stand it anymore.
He pouted and said, “Mommy, Big Treasure wants to watch cartoons.”
Little Treasure immediately echoed him and said, “Little Treasure also wants to watch cartoons.”
Wang Hu, whose enthusiasm had been interrupted, looked at Silly Girl. Di Baijun’s slim brows knitted together slightly, and she said neither too fiercely nor too flippantly, “What’s so great about cartoons? You shouldn’t watch them every day.”
Though upset, the two little fellows didn’t dare to say anything. They continued to pout while they turned to their father.
Wang Hu pretended not to notice anything and allowed his gaze to drift to another direction instead.
Once again, he couldn’t help but feel that snotty little kids were indeed pretty troublesome and in the way sometimes.
“Hmph.”
At the sight, both Big Treasure and Little Treasure snorted loudly and buried their heads into Wang Hu’s shoulders, adopting a ‘this baby is angry and is going to ignore the two of you’ attitude.
Neither Wang Hu nor Di Baijun was bothered. Instead, they continued to tour the area.
At last, after walking about for half a day, the family finally returned to the Tiger King’s Cave.
The two angry little fellows had already fallen asleep while resting on Wang Hu’s shoulders a long time ago.
Upon returning home, Wang Hu’s emotions also finally calmed down for real. It was time to get down to business.
He handed the two little fellows to Silly Girl. Then, he made a phone call.
In the capital of China, Dong Pingtao picked up the call. When he heard the familiar voice on the other end, he heaved a sigh of relief.
It was great that he was safe.
In truth, Dong Pingtao had already wanted to call a long time ago.
After all, according to the news sent back from the frontline and judging from what had happened in the few hours after that, it was likely that something had happened to the Tiger King. A few hours was already the limit of how long he could hold himself back.
It was simply wonderful for him to receive the phone call and hear that voice now.
No matter what, after the last ten years and in dangerous and tumultuous times like these, China wouldn’t wish for anything to happen to the Tiger King.
That was what he thought, and that was also what he naturally said.
“Your Excellency, we’re still sorting through the total gains. Are you coming over to take them? Or would you like us to send them over?”
Wang Hu replied calmly, “You can send them to the Tiger King’s Cave. I want 80% of the total gains.”
The distribution ratio wasn’t something that they had already discussed beforehand. After all, the battlefield was ever-changing. Nobody could be sure how much each party’s contribution would be, prior to the battle. Thus, there hadn’t been any way to split the gains.
Now that it was over, Wang Hu—who had nearly died—naturally wouldn’t stand on ceremony.
The only reason why he hadn’t straight-up demanded 90% of the gains was because he hadn’t participated in the battle when they were finishing up at the end.
“Okay, no problem. 80%, it is. We won’t give you any less than that. We’ll send them over together with the things that we’ve previously agreed upon when we’re done.”
Going by what had happened during the battle, it was reasonable for the Tiger King to ask for 80% of the gains.
After all, the Fourth Realm Dragon King clone had been outside their expectations.
Had the Tiger King not taken part in the battle, they would probably have lost even if they had fought back at all costs. If that happened, they would have suffered terribly heavy losses.
Wang Hu was somewhat satisfied with the other party’s answer. Now that he had said what he wanted to, he paused for a moment before he calmly asked, “Is anything else the matter?”
Dong Pingtao mused for a moment. He suppressed the urge to inquire about how he was doing and instead asked seriously, “After this battle, the Dragon Clan troops have suffered great losses. I wonder what kind of condition the Dragon King is in.
“Your Excellency, in your opinion, will he continue to deploy more troops to invade Earth for the time being?”
Wang Hu’s eyes narrowed at the mention of the Dragon King. Now that he had vented his emotions, all that was left was pure killing intent.
He replied coldly and indifferently, “The Dragon King has lost part of his divine spirit. No matter how strong he is, he’ll be busy trying to stabilize his condition for now. For the time being, he won’t have the guts to come to Earth again.”
Or rather, before the spiritual energy density level on Earth reached a certain level, the Dragon King would never easily come to Earth anymore.
The situation this time was unlike that with the Demon King of Nowhere previously. During that time, the Demon King of Nowhere had lost a far smaller portion of divine spirit than what the Dragon King had lost this time.
If the Demon King of Nowhere had lost an arm’s worth of divine spirit during that time, then the Dragon King would have lost two arms’ worth of divine spirit.
Without absolute confidence, how would he possibly dare to come to Earth again?
At the most, he would just send his subordinates over to keep a constant eye on Earth and keep tabs on the situation on Earth.
Dong Pingtao mentally relaxed a little. While it might seem like they had won by a landslide this time, in all honesty, all the human alliances were actually having a hard time.
On top of the Japan Alliance’s destruction, they had also exhausted vast numbers of nuclear weapons. The resulting impact would soon reach the China Alliance and the Russia Alliance. Both of them would more or less have to suffer some losses, regardless.
Should the other party make a comeback, they wouldn’t be able to handle it.
