- Chapter 645 - Transformation! The Gathering of Five Great Leagues
Camp Edgar.
More than seventy Demon Faction players fell back to one corner of the camp feeling anxious and helpless at the same time.
Among them, some had been trapped at the Underworld for three to four days, while some were resurrected here after being killed as soon as they entered this filthy hell.
Trapped inside the crowded camp and listening to the roaring battlefield out there had turned these players mad. Terrified at first, these people were now infuriated and began to curse fate.
One cycle of Project Pioneer took seven days to complete.
In other words, they would not be able to leave this shithole for seven days, unless they were able to find a Summoner who excelled in Teleportation down here.

Otherwise, they could only wait for Fallen Angels League to complete the project and try to overrun their newly constructed station; or pray that Fallen Angels failed their quest and was exterminated by the patrolling Specters.
Either way, their chance was slim. In short, their future looked grim.
But among the concerned crowd, a few of them were not entirely upset by their current predicament.
For instance, three Summoners were having a serious conversation in the crowd.
“Trendy?”
“Where is our target?”
“Damn! What the hell are you doing? The Boss had fixed the ambush time. The plan will be jeopardized if we can’t locate Winter Demon soon.” The middle-aged Summoner was losing his patience and was continuingly urging another Summoner to hasten up.
The Summoner beside the middle-aged player rolled his eyes and rebutted, “Drop it. We still have two hours left. Why rush? Trendy’s bird cannot get past the Barrier and its shared vision is also fairly limited. Since it’s so vast and so crowded out there, who the hell would know which corner the Winter Demon is hiding at?”
“He is right, you know.” The remaining Summoner nodded in agreement. He directed a question to the middle-aged Summoner. “Why don’t you come and try to find Winter Demon out of a few ten thousand players?”
“Tell these complaints to Sinistress.” The middle-aged Summoner scowled at them. The two younger Summoners shut their mouths immediately after they heard the horrifying name.
They had entered the camp for quite some time now. Honestly, they should have at least narrowed down the Winter Demon’s position by now.
However…
“Is it really necessary to know the whereabouts of Winter Demon? I thought we are up for a sneak attack? Since the area under here is so vast, why not just pick a direction and assault right away? What’s the probability of us bumping into the Winter Demon in such a short interval?” Trendy mumbled discontentedly.
The middle-aged Summoner sneered and said, “If everyone thinks like you, why bother to battle? It’s easier to just hope and pray for Fallen Angels’ failure. This way, we don’t even need to do anything and can just go home and sleep.”
“…” The two Summoners were unable to refute this time. So they stop complaining and continued to observe the crowd from afar and searched for Qin Ruo.
While doing that, they also had to endure the middle-aged Summoner’s endless nagging.
“I heard that Winter Demon has mastered a Skill that is similar to Cub’s Cloak. He is even capable of changing his appearance and imitate the look of a Demon Faction player. Perhaps he has already blended in among us?”
“…”
“Bro, stop scaring me. I will be easily distracted if you keep doing that…” Trendy rolled his eyes and subconsciously glanced at others around him. ‘This is not funny, not at all.’
What Trendy did not realize was that when he was busy suspecting those Demon Faction players around him, a Swordmaster had disappeared from the crowd.
At the same time, a player that supposedly belonged to the Demon Faction had suddenly appeared in front of the Angel Faction defense line.
Coming through from the Warp Portal that rapidly appeared beside Dinosaurcerer, Qin Ruo’s removed his disguise in a flash—He certainly did not wish to be greeted with a handful of Magic Spells by his own comrades in the next second.
“What’s the deal over there?”
“Hmph. Just as we have anticipated. There are indeed a few sneaky people in there. All three of them are Summoners… They are highly vigilant and never speak openly. I reckon they are communicating through voice messages and a private channel. But they seemed to have forgotten that not talking at all is equally suspicious. I also noticed that they were observing our site through some sort of small-sized Avian Monster. Their intention is just all too obvious.”
“Unfortunately, activating Angelic Wings will no longer alarm Camp Edgar. Or else, I alone would be enough to take them all out!” Dinosaurcerer had been kept busy due to the emergence of Divine Specter in the past few days. The sighting of those bastards from Demon Faction only further fueled his rage. He then said in a murderous tone, “Why don’t we set up traps near the camp? Let’s see who is daring enough to step onto our turf.”
“I don’t think that will be necessary.” Qin Ruo rejected his suggestion. “We don’t need any more trouble at this point. Put the focus on protecting the city. We will have our chance to deal with them in the future.” Qin Ruo looked at his watch while calming Dinosaurcerer down.
It was almost time.
“Black Rock,” he turned around and called out. “Gather two hundred members and march into the camp.”
“Spade, inform the Summoners to get ready. Also, immediately contact the other four Leagues. Ask them to enter the Underworld immediately. We will leave this place to them.”
“Noted!” Ace of Spades responded swiftly. Soon, hundreds of players were seen lining up at the back of the defense line. All of them were Tier 5 Summoners.
Dinosaurcerer and Black Rock, on the other hand, were baffled by Qin Ruo’s decision to deploy men into the camp now.
“Going into the camp at this point?”
“Boss, I really wish to witness how powerful the Divine Specter is. Can you please order someone else to go instead?” Black Rock begged.
“The reason why I need you and your men to be in the camp is to terrorize those who are hiding inside and prevent them from coming out to challenge our defense line. With two hundred Champions, I bet even Sinitress and Savior will not dare to roll out recklessly if they are here. Unless they have the confidence that they can sandwich us from both flanks. As for you…” Qin Ruo glared at Black Rock and said, “Your job is to render their Divinity useless and keep them honest on the ground. Only you and Xin Yu have mastered Forbidden Field, are you suggesting that we should put Xin Yu up against those barbarians from Demon Faction instead?”
Black Rock dejectedly stopped talking after listened to Qin Ruo’s reasoning. Xin Yu was, after all, just a Bandit. It would be dangerous for her to come into the spotlight. It seemed that no one else was fit enough to carry out this mission other than himself.
Dinosaurcerer laughed at the deflated Black Rock and said, “Don’t worry. I will record the entire process for you. You can watch it over and over again, as many times as you like.”
“F*ck you,” Black Rock muttered in disgust. “Where’s the excitement of not seeing it in live action? Damn! Sinistress and Savior better show themselves. I am so going to mutilate them.” He cursed the Demon Faction players before lunging toward the camp with his troop as told.

“Eh?”
“Look! Something is going on over there!”
The massive movement on the other side immediately caught the attention of the three Summoners at Camp Edgar.
Curious, the group of people inside the camp gathered at the edge of the stone wall outside the camp and looked out through the Barrier. They happened to catch a glimpse of the movement of a large group of Summoners from behind defense line directly opposite the camp.
The Summoners from the opposite end walked out cautiously toward the clearing in between the defense line and Edgar Camp. This move deeply frightened the Demon Faction players.
“What are they trying to do?”
“I thought Fallen Angels already had everyone here at the Underworld? A total 30,000 of them. Why does it look like they are trying to perform another mass summoning?” The middle-aged Summoner was breathing hard like everyone else around him.
‘It’s unusual to perform mass summoning when the battle appears to be in a deadlock. Have they discovered our plan?’
As soon as the premonition flashed through his mind, another platoon emerged from the defense line and stormed furiously toward the camp.
The three of them were shocked. “They are strengthening their defense!”
“Quick, inform Sinistress! It’s still not too late to make the move now,” Trendy cried out frantically through the channel.
The middle-aged Summoner hollered, “Don’t be a fool! How are we going to launch the assault now without any people in position? You want to get us all killed? We still have two days, so calm the f*ck down! Look! If those Summoners are transporting people in, then our ambush plan will fail one way or another.”
A few hundred Summoner could transfer about 10,000 players at one time. It was unlikely they were brought in by Fallen Angels to deal with the Undead Horde, which was currently under complete control.
His premonition was most probably accurate. Their ambush plan would likely be aborted before it even took place.
While the three Summoners had run out of ideas and watched in despair, numerous hexagrams began appearing under the Summoners who were standing in the open area.
The portals spread like a fast transmitting flu. The endless radiance emitted from the portal made a spectacular scene.
The emergence of more players from Angel Faction further exaggerated the tension built up by the buzzing warzone beyond the defense line.
“Shit…”
“Are you kidding me?”
After synchronizing the vision with his pet, Trendy could clearly see that none of the newly arrived reinforcement was wearing the insignia of the almighty Fallen Angels. Instead, they were bearing insignia from…
Hall of Heroes!
Netherspirit’s Claw!
Black Jail Clan!
Lastly, a bloody scarlet insignia…
The eyes of the Demon Faction players inside the camp widened as they looked at the newly gathered troops in disbelief. They had never felt so intimidated before.
The faces of the three Summoners deployed by Sinistress had also gone completely pale. Their eyes were fixated at the four figures ascending from the crowd below.
“They are here as well?!”
“The Winter Demon… This is outrageous. Does he really need to invite the entire Angel Faction over to view the establishment of his city?”
“What do we do now?”
The three Summoners looked away from the scene and looked at each other helplessly. Facing the two hundred players guided by Black Rock, a few hundred Angel Faction players outside the camp, as well as the numerous flying monsters that surround the air, they gulped sorrowfully and thought, ‘How did they figure it out? Shit! The sneak attack is no game. We will just play into their hands if we go on with the exposed plan.’
