Love from The Koi Goddess - Chapter 14: This Idol Is Such A Goddess
“…?”
The fan stared blankly at Jinli.
Aren’t the idols always humble and modest in all the interviews? Why is Jinli so blatantly upfront and honest?
Confused, she carefully checked Jinli’s appearance. Having soaked in her God-given beauty, she nodded vigorously while replying excitedly, “Indeed! Indeed! Jinli definitely looks even better in real life!”
Jinli absolutely loved hearing that. In one swift motion, she happily signed her name on the blank back page of the photograph, completely ignoring the fact that her handwriting was completely unlike the old Bai Jinli’s. From the start, she had had no intention of living in the image that Bai Jinli had built. On what basis should she restrain herself to live in the shadows of others?
As for the fan…

She was blinded by being in such close proximity to the enchanting beauty, completely oblivious to the signature.
Owing to her elation, Jinli even kindly offered to take a photograph after the signature, “Want to take a photo together?”
My gosh! This idol is such a Goddess!
Excitement surged within the fan, her face flushed red from the adrenaline. In a high-pitched voice, she screamed out loud, “YES!”
Tacha! Tacha! Tacha!
The two of them took more than 10 photos together, even doing several poses. At the start, the girl was very uptight, fearing that Jinli would lose her patience from the excessive photo taking. However, seeing that Jinli was having fun with her, she relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed herself. In the end, she clasped her phone tight, like a treasure, with a big, satisfied smile plastered on her face as she scrolled through the photos.
……
To be honest, initially, the fan had just been superficial, not any more favourable of Jinli than a random passerby. Now, she proudly declared that she had converted and officially become a hardcore fan.
How is it possible for such a gorgeous, cute, and kind goddess of an idol to exist on this earth!
Facing Jinli, she gave a right-angled bow, declaring loudly, “Jinli, I will forever be your fan and support you eternally!”
Hearing that, Jinli was going to be humble. Before she could speak, an astonishing sight silenced her.
At the instant the fan exclaimed, a needle-thin golden aura sprouted from her body. Like a strand of mist, it floated gently, landing on Jinli. All of a sudden, her powerless, exhausted body started warming up.
Jinli’s eyes lit up at the sensation. At the moment that the golden aura seeped into her body, it was converted to Celestial Powers. Indeed, it was negligible compared to her original limitless powers, but for the current her, it was revolutionary.
What did that signify? Every little detail helps. Perhaps, just perhaps, accumulating enough of this golden aura would recover her Celestial Powers? Would she be able to go back to the Heavens now? Adrenaline sucked her in like a vortex as this realisation dawned on her.
For the fan, as an onlooker, the original enchanting Jinli seemed to begin sparkling. Unable to hold in her excitement any longer, she whipped out her phone and posted immediately on WeiBo.
TheDelicatePiggyGirlV: Never thought that I would actually meet Jinli on my first time trying my luck waiting at the company. The actual person is so gorgeous! Such a beautiful personality too! Freaking cute and funny! She must be the actual reincarnation of the Goddess! (EMOJI)(EMOJI)(EMOJI)
She covered her face with an emoji and posted the photos from just now. Only after she posted it did she realise that it was a tad inappropriate. She turned and faced Jinli nervously, “Jinli, I posted the best-looking photos from just now. They are all the most perfect photos of you! Are… are you ok with that? If not, I will take them down immediately!”
That shocked Jinli for a moment before she truly understood the fan’s words. She shook her head indifferently. “It’s alright! It’s alright! I’m so pretty. I am supposed to be seen by everyone.”
The fan remained silent, speechless before she broke out in a burst of laughter. Why had she never realised that Jinli was so funny before?
