Lord of the Magical Beasts - Chapter 702 - Power King
Yang Ling’s team rested for a night, then left Camel Peak Castle the next morning. They rode swift Twin-legged Flying Dragons to the distant Far West Land.
The Chaos Dimension was large, larger than the collective expanse of the Life Dimension, Power Dimension, and the other Main Dimensions put together, and even by a conservative estimate, it was tens of thousands of times bigger than Physical Dimensions like Tailun Continent. The road from the remote Giant Dragon Mountain Range to the Far West Land was very long, and even an expert with a High-Level Deity’s power would have to travel nonstop at a high speed for at least half a year, or even several years, to traverse this distance.
The Twin-legged Flying Dragons weren’t any swifter than ordinary God-Level Experts, but they had a large number of them, and they could carry Yang Ling and his companions in turns while still advancing swiftly. Since Yang Ling’s team had so many Flying Dragon mounts, they were very relaxed on their journey. They could chat and joke atop the Flying Dragons, and they even started studying further Laws up there.
In Camel Peak Castle, the Corpse Wizard King had bought a mystical Magic Map that showed the Chaos Dimension’s terrain–its mountain ranges, towns, and rivers. Every time they passed a large town or a Wandering Castle, the Corpse Wizard King and the rest of the group would visit it, to take a break and to make inquiries about the Nine Phantom Mountain Range and the Starry Sky Castle. They got all kinds of intelligence, and Yuna, who’d managed the Magical Beast Domain for so many years, attentively recorded everything they learned.
After a month, the group managed to ascertain the Starry Sky Castle’s location, and just as they’d expected, it was on their path to the Nine Phantom Mountain Range. The Starry Sky Castle had been around longer than Camel Peak Castle, and it was said that the mysterious Dimensional Merchants frequented the place, selling priceless treasures.
It was easy enough to get an understanding of the Starry Sky Castle’s situation, and after the group put in a bit of work, they managed to get a lot of information about Skyreach Tower, too. The Nine Phantom Mountain Range was one of the few forbidden lands of the Chaos Dimension, and even a person at the High-Level Deity Stage didn’t dare intrude there rashly. It was said that many adventurers and mercenaries had risked their lives to travel there for hunting or collecting rare, valuable medical ingredients. But such people were very rare, and the group didn’t come across even one on the road.
“Brother Yang, how long do we have to travel to reach the Far West Land?” Sofia looked at the white clouds below her and the numerous ant-like humans on the ground. She couldn’t help but shake her head. She had already mentally prepared herself for this journey, but the Chaos Dimension’s vast size still greatly surpassed her expectations.

“If we continue flying at the same peace, we will need at least two more years.” Yang Ling held the elf beauty’s thin waist tightly. He said in a low voice, “Sofia, why don’t you go back to the Wizard Pagoda’s dimension and stay with Yuna and the others? Everything is contained inside of it; you don’t have to stay out here and face the difficulties of travel with me.”
“No! Even if I have to bear the hardships of travel every day, I’ll still stay with you.” Sofia leaned against Yang Ling’s chest. This was a rare chance to adventure with Yang Ling and spend every day with him. How could she let it slip by?
They rode the Twin-legged Flying Dragons without stopping to hasten their journey, and those days seemed very dull. Still, it was better than staying home alone, and it was better than practicing in solitude.
“You will have to bear the hardships of travel every day. Hehe… So you should be careful, as you may turn into a faded old woman.” Yang Ling chuckled and took that moment, when no one was paying attention to them, to grope the beautiful elf’s butt.
“Take your hands off me! You should be careful. Little Ice and the others might see you!” The Corpse Wizard King and the others kept a certain distance from Yang Ling’s flying dragon on purpose, but Sofia was still ashamed, her face flushed.
…
Yang Ling was traveling with many beauties, including his two lovable wives, Yuna and Sofia. This made his days on the road more colorful. Time passed quickly, and 3 months went by in a flash.
“Hand over the Mother Egg! Hurry up! If you don’t, all of you will die.”
“Kill them; spare no one.”
Yang Ling and his companions were flying at a high altitude when indistinct cries and fighting noises rose from the depths of the large canyon below. The voices were accompanied by a pungent blood odor. The voices were very low, as though they had echoed out from a distant region. The Corpse Wizard King, Ophelia, and others didn’t detect the sounds at all, but Yang Ling, with his great Divine Consciousness, noticed them.
Mother Egg?
Could it be that they’d again come across Tungusta the Hill Giant, whom they’d met previously in Camel Peak Castle?
Yang Ling muttered to himself for a moment before he descended swiftly to the ground. He collected the Twin-legged Flying Dragons and the rest of the group, and they stealthily snuck toward the area where the fight noises echoed out. They were very swift, and they quickly reached the spot. They saw three Titans, each a dozen meters tall, who were encircled tightly by 100 Twelve-Winged Angels. The Titans’ bodies were drenched in blood, and their footsteps were unsteady. It seemed like they had already sustained heavy injuries.
“Adonal, your Power King has a large influence in the Power Dimension. But this is the Chaos Dimension. So hand over the Mother Egg now! If you don’t, you can’t blame us for wiping you out.” The angel leader held a large, sharp blade in his hand, and he had a bloody wound on his face. He looked ferocious!
“The Chaos Dimension doesn’t belong to our Power Dimension, but it is also not the property of the City Amongst the Clouds.” The Titan, Adonal, took a breath and said coldly, “I have already said that we don’t have any Mother Egg, and even if we did have it, we still wouldn’t hand it over to the City Amongst the Clouds’ birdmen.”
Birdmen?
The angel leader flew into a rage. He divided the angels into two groups. One group attacked the three powerful Titans and pestered them, while the other group quickly got into formation. The Titans killed several hundred angels and forced their way out of the circle, but they also sustained heavy injuries. They were on the verge of collapse. If the angels managed the Angel Battle Formation, the Titans wouldn’t survive this crisis.
“The Power King’s Titans always fight to the death; none of us will ever surrender. Let’s die together!” The Titan leader looked at the angels that surrounded them and pursued them relentlessly before throwing all caution to the wind. He let out a battle cry and pounced empty-handed at the angels alongside his companions.
Swoosh!
The Titan’s large fist streaked through the air as swiftly as a shooting star. It also emitted an ear-piercing tearing noise. He hadn’t used any weapon; his empty fist alone gave rise to shocking air explosions. The fist’s wind possessed torrential power, and it flew toward the angels that blocked the road. As a ‘swooshing’ noise echoed out, the terrible fist penetrated an angel’s chest. The angel’s armor was of no use against it.
The Titans were the subordinates of the King of Force, the Power King, and they had great brute power. Their understanding of the Force’s mysteries and its usage was remarkable.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
A terrible muffled noise echoed out ceaselessly, and a dozen angels were instantly killed by the three Titans’ fists. Simultaneously, the Titans bore the brunt of the angels’ fierce attack. Their bodies were drenched in blood. One Titan’s arm was even chopped off by the angel leader! Blood gushed from the wound, and the Titan shivered in pain.
“Charge, charge at them and kill them all!” The angel leader struck a Titan with his blade and pushed him back as he ordered the angels to launch further attacks.
Ah!
The Titan that had lost an arm had the most serious injuries, and he lost quite a lot of blood. He got slower and slower, and his consciousness became more and more muddled. The experienced angel leader mounted a sneak attack on him from the back, stabbing his great sword through his chest. The Titan’s heart was chopped in two! He let out a miserable scream. He wanted to launch a counterattack, but he couldn’t do it in time. His body was rapidly torn apart by the angels.
“Guti, Guti!” Upon seeing that his brother had been torn to shreds by the angels’ blades, the Titan leader’s eyes turned bloodshot, and he took a hit head-on before crushing an angel’s head with his fist. Soon after, he charged fearlessly toward the hateful angel leader.
Swoosh!
The fierce Titan roared loudly, ignoring the angel leader’s sharp blade. He pierced the angel leader’s chest with his fist, and he was just about to crush his brain when a cold light flashed in the air and the Titan’s head was chopped off.
At this crucial juncture, the nearest angels quickly formed a small Angel Battle Formation, and they killed the raging Titan with a single move. Scorch Angels were usually stronger than ordinary Twelve-Winged Angels, and when dozens of Scorch Angels fused their power in the Angel Battle Formation, their fighting prowess became exceptionally terrifying.
“Explode! Explode, and let’s die together.” After the last Titan witnessed both his brothers’ miserable deaths, he gnashed his teeth and detonated his Godhead recklessly. He was aware of his body’s serious injuries, and he knew that he couldn’t charge out of the angels’ tight circle again. So he threw caution to the wind and detonated his Godhead. He hoped to kill many angels and go down with them.
Rumble!
A terrifying explosion instantly tore dozens of angels around the Titan to shreds. The angels who had formed the Angel Battle Formation defended jointly against this attack, but they still sustained significant injuries and vomited mouthfuls of blood. Some of them even died on the spot.
A bitter victory. The angels had gotten the victory, but they’d paid a grave price for it.
“Hahaha…I said that all of you would die.” The heavily injured angel leader swayed as he tried to stand up, his whole body drenched in blood. The wound on his face was wiggling like an earthworm, nauseating and hideous.
“The Mother Nest belongs to our City Amongst the Clouds, and everyone else should die. Spare no one.”
Even though the angel leader was seriously wounded, he didn’t forget about the Mother Egg and how it could detect the Mother Nest’s location. He commanded the angels that had survived the crisis while he quickly searched the spatial rings left by the Titans. But when an angel found a spatial ring and handed it over to the leader, something surprising occurred.
Buzz!
A resounding cry echoed in the air, accompanied by an overwhelming murderous aura. Dense Crystal Mist suddenly enveloped the whole battlefield, and a large Flying Magical Beast descended from the sky. It brought with it a boundless wave of pressure that rivaled a Core Deity.
Yang Ling was hiding in the vicinity, and when the angels dropped their guard, he launched a ferocious attack without the least bit of hesitation.
