Chi Enen did not see the farce.
She was pulled along by Li Beijue, walking quickly away from the booth.
The cold man was tall and had long legs. She had to take two steps to catch up with every step that he took. However, he was walking particularly fast, Chi Enen was struggling to catch up with him.
“Li Beijue, slow down.” She was breathless, panting hard as she staggered after him. She had to shout to get his attention.
However, the man who walked quickly did not seem to hear her. He walked in the same speed with a livid face. His jet black eyes barely looked at her.
“Slow…”

Chi Enen could feel perspiration on her back. She could no longer take it anymore. She struggled to shrug off the man’s hands.
“I can’t walk anymore.”
The man who was taking quick steps stopped abruptly. He pulled a long face and had a dark expression on his face. He fixed his cold and hawk-like eyes on her. “You can’t walk anymore? I thought you were a superhuman who wears underwear on the outside and for whom nothing is impossible!”
She could not speak the local language yet she dared to allow Huo Yi to step away to buy drinks for her!
She was alone by herself in another country and she dared to argue with other people!
He thought she had seen herself as a superwoman. She was not afraid of anything and nothing was impossible!
“Aren’t you very capable?”
Chi Enen could not take his sarcastic tone anymore.
She did not do anything to annoy him. Why was he so furious?
Chi Enen had no idea why he was so angry. She decided to ignore him. She placed her palms on her knees and rested while she caught her breath.
Li Beijue glared at her furiously! He was giving her the death stare!
After staring at her for a long time, he realized that Chi Enen had intended to ignore him which made him even angrier!
He stooped down and squeezed Chi Enen’s chin, forcing her to look at him. The angry flames in his jet black eyes seemed powerful enough to swallow everything!
“Speak!”
Chi Enen frowned in pain, but she stubbornly refused to say anything. She directed her bright, clear eyes at the angry man, as she asked him calmly, “What do you want me to say?”
His words were already at his throat but Li Beijue realized sullenly that he had no idea what he wanted from her.
Perhaps it was to promise that she would never face danger by herself again in the future?
No. Did he care that much for her?
Chi Enen waited briefly but there was no answer from Li Beijue. She sighed, feeling upset. Right then, she caught sight of a booth that was selling local food from the corner of her eyes and a thought came to her mind. She made a suggestion to Li Beijue. “Li Beijue, are you hungry? Let me treat you to pineapple rice.”
The man who was still sulking saw the booth that she was pointing at. He frowned deeply. He narrowed his hawk-like eyes in disbelief. “You are treating me to this?”
“What does it matter? Anyway, we are on vacation. We have to try the most characteristic local food to make our trip count. Come on, it must be delicious.” Seeing the shocked look on his face, Chi Enen could not help but keep teasing him. She smiled as she pulled him toward the stall.
Perhaps due to her bright smile, although Li Beijue was still sulking, he still walked toward the stall with her.
The booth had a total of three tables, two of which were already occupied. Only the innermost table was empty.
“You can take a seat while I’ll get the food. Do you want pineapple rice?” Chi Enen turned to ask him.
Li Beijue looked stiff as he looked distastefully at the simple table that was placed on the beach, looking unwilling and displeased. “Whatever.”
Fine, she would make the decision.
Chi Enen did not take issue with his tone and ran to the stall to buy food. Li Beijue was left alone by himself. He stood tall next to the shabby table that was only half a meter high. He stared at it for a long time before he sat down on the chair.
The table was only half a meter high. The chair was even lower.
