- Chapter 450 - Spectacular 3 Lanes Advantage
Luocheng guided Lee Sin to last hit a melee minion with a punch, and his champion reached Level 3 the moment the creep was killed. Luocheng swiftly planted a ward in front and Lee Sin agilely dashed toward it without any delay.
Tempest!
Lee Sin’s palm smashed the ground and crippled both Mephistopheles and Asmodai with his E-skill’s second cast. The two Team Daemon members finally sensed the incoming danger and quickly backed off.
This was when Dr. Mundo tacitly threw his cleaver right at the retreating Karma!
The double slow effects were deadly, and Mephistopheles wasted no time and immediately Flashed backward.
Unfortunately, the total 60% of reduction in speed greatly hindered his escape even after he had used the Flash, and Luocheng proceeded to hit the slowed Karma with Lee Sin’s Sonic Wave.

‘Flash? It’s useless. You are not getting away with the double slow debuffs!’
Lee Sin’s initiation never worked well if it began with his Q-skill, Sonic Wave. It was most effective to first approach the enemy using his W-skill, then slow the enemy with two E-skill casts, and then pursue the enemy using a red buff. The Q-skill should be used last to prevent the target from escaping with a Flash. As long as the range was properly estimated, the target would have no way to run.
Mephistopheles and Asmodai subconsciously thought that Luocheng was only there to ease up the bottom defense line. Despite being watchful, it was hard for them to completely withdraw from the frontline and not pressure the crumbling tower a little more.
This had given Lee Sin the opening to charge in as soon as he reached Level 3.
A Karma and Ezreal tag-team relied heavily on their Q-skills to push back the enemy, meaning that these two champions lacked sufficient damage to fight head-on in the early-game. Not only that, they were both only at Level 2 while Lee Sin was one level ahead of them.
Mephistopheles was unable to shake off Lee Sin after his champion was hit precisely by Wind Storm. As Mundo followed up the attack with Masochism activated, the squishy Karma fell to her death quickly. Her health had already been halved after being kicked by Lee Sin and she was killed after a few auto-attacks by Mundo.
Tragically, Asmodai’s Ezreal had been hit by the double debuffs as well!
The battle power of Dr. Mundo and Lee Sin had far exceeded his now and unfortunately, there was still a long distance before he could get back to safety. Asmodai was probably going to fall as well!
As expected, Luocheng went straight into the bush after they had killed Mephistopheles’s Karma, rounding up the minions blocking his path and then charging straight toward Ezreal!
Asmodai was cornered. Mundo was on his back while Lee Sin was restricting his movement from the side.
“Asmodai, come to me!” Belial was rushing over to the bottom lane.
He was already on his way after he had finally killed off the Wight. He had indeed expected the sudden assault but he was a tad too late. Lee Sin was simply too explosive and Mephistopheles was killed almost instantly.
Asmodai gave up on returning to the turret and selected the river route.
Da Luo was still in hot pursuit. He refused to give up before the opponent’s ADC had surrendered his Flash.
His Infected Cleaver’s cooldown was up soon, he only needed to slow him down one more time and his life will be theirs…
Q-skill!
The cleaver flew over and Ezreal had no chance to evade it.
“Hah!”
At the last moment, Vi came to Ezreal’s rescue. She positioned herself accurately in front of the ADC, absorbing the Cleaver’s damage in Ezreal’s place.
“What a timely rescue! If Belial had arrived a second later, Ezreal would be forced to use his Flash, but since both pursuers from Team Skycrown still have their mobility skills, they might easily get a double kill on Team Daemons!”
Da Luo was not intimidated by Belial. He tracked back a little before promptly throwing another cleaver to stall Vi.
Luocheng’s Lee Sin hurried in and used Sonic Boom on Vi.
Level 3 against Level 3. Luocheng was not afraid to take on Belial and executed a series of combo-skills on the Vi.
The two-man team from Team Skycrown was brutal! They were not satisfied with getting only the Support, and now, they were all over the opponent’s Jungler too!
Belial was surprised by their aggressiveness.
His purpose of charging out had been to protect Ezreal. He had not wanted to fight Team Skycrown at this point judging by Lee Sin’s good form, moreover, Lee Sin was healing pretty fast while Mundo with his Randuin’s Omen as a starting item still had two-thirds of his health left. A Level 2 Mundo was considerably powerful especially with his W-skill activated.
Belial’s intention to chase Mundo away had now turned him into the two pursuers’ new prey.
Knowing that Vi’s Q-skill had been used, Mundo directly cast his Ignite on Belial, and with Luocheng shielding him, Da Luo courageously continued to auto-attack Vi.
Asmodai was helpless. His Ezreal was only at Level 2 and this champion was too feeble to get involved in such a ferocious clash.
Belial would have fought back if it weren’t for the debuff. He knew that he had lost this fight the moment his Vi had been inflicted by Da Luo’s Ignite.
Belial did not hesitate for long. After exchanging a few hits with Lee Sin, he decisively pressed his Flash skill. Another cleaver or Lee Sin’s Q-skill could easily end his life.
‘These two lunatics might dive in to kill me if my health goes any lower!’
Lee Sin and Mundo were both good at stalling the enemy, and getting hit by either champion’s Q-skill would spell certain death!
“Sh*t! They must have practiced such plays before!” Belial who had managed to get away said indignantly.
He now understood why the Jungler had not farmed in the neutral camp but had gone to help out at the bottom lane instead. They had purposely waited for the minion wave to reach their turret and then launched the surprise attack.
It was difficult to get away safely from such an ambush because the minion wave had moved too far from the turret. Basically, one could hardly get away once they were hit by the first slowing skill. For teams that couldn’t react in time, this play would easily secure two kills for Team Skycrown.
It couldn’t have been executed so perfectly if they had not rehearsed this play multiple times.
Belial hated this kind of eccentric playstyle the most. Either Lee Sin or Elise could fight him equally in the jungle as long as their levels were not lower than his. Vi wouldn’t stand a chance if she was caught in the jungle without her Flash.
“Such an aggressive play, Team Skycrown has really caught Team Daemons by surprise. They’ve gained the kill on the Support, forced two Flashes from Team Daemons, greatly damaged the Jungler, and even exhausted all of the opponents’ summoner’s skills. What a huge loss to Team Daemons. It seems that Team Skycrown’s new strategy is working. I wonder how long Team Skycrown has been working on this. It’s hard to believe that even an experienced team like Team Daemons is being fooled!”
“We were still pondering earlier as to why the second Jungler did not go to counter-farm Belial, but it turns out that their target was on the bottom lane all along. Luocheng made use of Lee Sin’s early-game advantage to rush to Level 3 and then retaliated when the enemies reached their outer turret…”
The two commentators could no longer hold back their excitement. It was truly fascinating to watch Team Skycrown play, they never played by the rules!
“Top lane… Oh, something has happened in the top lane too!”
The camera switched quickly to the top lane right after the bottom lane had settled down. The audience could clearly see that Shyvana was recalling behind the inner turret with only a few drops of HP left!
Though they had not seen it, it wasn’t hard to guess what had just happened. Zhou Yan’s Elise must have sandwiched Shyvana from behind when the minion wave reached the outer turret.
Charon’s summoner’s skills were on cooldown, meaning he must have executed his Flash in order to avoid being ganked.
“This is bad… What a catastrophic development for Team Daemons. Both of their top and bottom lanes have been ravaged mercilessly by Team Skycrown. In addition to that, Charon is going to lose the valuable experience points on this wave of minions. There’s no way he can stop Draven when he gets back on the lane!”
Split-gank! Team Skycrown rolled out their rhythm perfectly.
At the bottom lane, they utilized Lee Sin and Mundo’s array of skills to slow the greedy enemies and counter-ambush them.
At the top lane, Team Skycrown’s long-range ADC harassed Shyvana and forbade her from going near the minion wave. In contrast, they were the ones pushing hard here so that Elise could round from the back and tower-dive!
Elise was the best champion to tower-dive in the early-game. Her fury of skills helped to trim the enemy’s life greatly which allowed Draven to finish the job!
Shyvana was powerless without her Ultimate and Charon had no choice but to flee like his compatriots at the bottom lane.
Team Skycrown’s new strategy had given them an enormous advantage at the side-lanes.
In actual fact, the opponent’s Jungler should have been able to cover at least one of the lanes, however, because Belial was being overly cautious when clearing the monster camps, looking out for the enemy’s two Junglers, he lost ample time in the process and failed to protect either lane.
As for the mid-lane, the more dominant Hades had played it safe owing to the threat from the double Junglers. Due to that, he missed the golden window to obstruct Gragas from farming.
In other words, Team Daemons had lost out in all three lanes.
“That was brilliant! Da Luo, Captain Yu, you guys are my idols!” Feng Da flushed in excitement and yelled jubilantly.
Team Skycrown was like a completely different team in the second game. They had created enormous advantages at the side lanes right from the start.
As for the mid-lane, it was also counted as a win when Hades did not get to dominate the lane as he usually did.
Needless to say, Team Daemons had completely lost its tempo and it was difficult for them to match Team Skycrown’s superiority from here on out.
Not many teams had managed to gain so much advantage from Team Daemons this early into the game before.
Team Skycrown was truly spectacular in orchestrating such an elegant tactic against the best team in China! It was hard not to be subdued by their genius strategy!
