A Walk-on Actor Who Wants to Be A Baker - Chapter 28 - A box of chocolate
The incident came to an end finally. It was said that Xingzhou Entertainment had compensated Sun the hero of a big IP TV series in order to let him come forward to respond. So it seemed that he hadn’t suffered great loss to miss the role played by Fang. Besides, the attention to Ye Ran’s film also rose rapidly because of this incident, becoming one of the next-year’s most anticipated films voted by netizens.
Only Fang, as a person concerned, went through the state of ups and downs where the number of his fans reduced at first and increased afterward. Finally, the number was exactly the same as before, which was extremely stable.
However, what Fang didn’t notice was that there was a big boss among his new fans.
Lu looked through Fang’s Weibo contents which had been posted for the recent half a year before going to bed. Most of them were just boring festival greetings with a couple of selfies occasionally. There was little response from fans.
Feeling sad for Fang, Lu pretended to be a fan to send Fang a private message, but he didn’t get a reply until the next day. Fang lost a fan in a flash.
The temperature rose rapidly in the south in March. Fang’s costume was so thick that he broke out in a sweat. After finishing his shooting, Fang went to the rest room to get changed immediately.
Fang came across the movie king Ye when he came out. He became more familiar with Ye than before because he had consulted Ye frequently recently. Fang took the opportunity to run up and asked Ye when he would be free to have a meal together.

Ye smiled apologetically, and said, “I’m afraid it won’t be possible today. Some fans come to see me. I have to meet them.”
It was the first time to allow fans to visit after joining the cast for so long. Feeling curious, Fang followed Ye to have a look.
Fang flattered himself as a guy who had seen the world, but as soon as he walked out of the filming set, and saw the numerous fans, he still got shocked.
The fans were considerate. They not only brought gifts for Ye, but also prepared fruit and pastries for the crew of the movie. Ye smiled and expressed thanks. He signed signature for his fans one by one. It was like a signing session.
Fang hid beside and poked the watermelon brought by Ye’s fans, feeling a bit jealous.
When his boy’s band used to be popular in the past, they held fans meetings in several cities with big pomp. And there were also some girls holding banners excitedly and asking for his signature. The girls would give him some cute gifts or letters of pages. Fang still kept those letters now.
Unfortunately, the present couldn’t be compared with the past…
“Baby Qiao?”
Fang was still immersed in memories of the past with sadness, and suddenly a familiar calling came to his ear.
A little girl with shoulder-length hair squeezed herself with difficulty through the fans of Ye to approach Fang and asked shyly, “May I get your signature?”
“!!!”
Fang got dumbfounded, and nodded after quite a while. He took over the pen handed by the girl and wrote down his name carefully with his fingertips slightly shaking.
“Sorry! I haven’t done it for a long time, so my handwriting looks bad somewhat.”
“It’s OK.” The girl accepted the signature happily, and handed Fang a box of chocolate. “It’s for you.”
“!!”
On his way back to the hotel, Fang held the chocolate box in front of his chest like a treasure, fearing it might be damaged. He was brimming over with happiness all over, and walked with a light step.
Tao got puzzled, “Did my second cousin propose to you?”
Fang smiled, “Even ten cousins of you cannot make me so happy.”
Blowing whistles, Fang bounded back to his room. When he approached the door, he did find a “second cousin” standing there.
“Why are you so happy?” Lu asked while leaning against the door frame.
Fang hadn’t thought Lu could come. He restored his ostentatious manner after a short surprise, and raised the chocolate box, “Someone asked me for signature today, and even brought me a gift!”
Without saying anything, Lu urged Fang to open the door quickly.
“Didn’t you book a room, Mr. Lu?”
“I’m tired of booking one. I’ll make do here for a night.”
“You’ve come specially for me, haven’t you?”
Lu pinched Fang’s ear, and responded by asking, “Or else?”
It was true. He had promised before. It seemed that Lu got very clear about the meeting date with every lover.
After coming in, Lu went to take a shower first. Fang ate a chocolate, and rolled around on bed feeling even happier.
At the moment, the mobile phone in Lu’s pocket rang. Fang shouted to Lu in the bathroom, “Someone is calling you, Mr. Lu.”
“Bring it in for me.”
Jumping off the bed, Fang felt in Lu’s pocket. He took out Lu’s phone, as well as a white slip of paper.
It was a receipt, and there were clear words on it reading- “xxx Chocolate x1”.
Looking at the receipt first and then the chocolate on bed, Fang realized what had happened immediately.
Fang Qiao immediately felt tears rolling in his eyes and so much warmth in heart as some inexplicable emotion surged.
He went into the bathroom with the phone. Lu was standing under the shower, naked. Seeing Fang come in, he turned off the water and reached for the phone.
However, Fang didn’t hand the phone immediately. Instead he stared at Lu with fixed eyes.
Throwing his hair, Lu asked, “Have you never seen a handsome guy who just took a bath?”
Fang didn’t answer him, and neither did he care about the water on Lu’s whole body. He just held Lu’s neck with his arms, and kissed Lu on tiptoe.
