Chapter 59: Ripping He Jie’s Nametag
An Wen had already identified her first teammate. That was great!
The game had finally commenced!
Hidden in the library were clues that could help reveal the identities of the Heiyun tribe. Everyone did not dare to make any reckless move before discovering some clues.
He Jie and An Wen went separate w ays after their first encounter. An Wen decided to go along with Xia Wei and Tang Ting.
“Lil Sis An, you’re under my protection today,” said Xia Wei.
“Me too!” echoed Tang Ting.

“I’m your Big Brother, he’s your Second Brother, and you’re the Third Sister.” Xia Wei introduced their new identities.
An Wen was speechless. She decided that there was nothing much she could do to save Xia Wei’s reputation.
The three of them started looking for clues, engaging in conversations as they kept on with the search. It seemed like all three of them deeply believed that each other belonged to the Xuanyuan tribe. The production team made the challenge more difficult by planting several empty lookalike boxes.
As soon as Li Jiaming and Zhao Ning were seen approaching their direction, all three of them quickly covered the nametags on their backs. “Hi, Sister Zhao and Brother Jiaming,” they greeted.
“Hey guys, are any of you from the Heiyun tribe?”
“Nope, not us,” said Tang Ting with a smile, but his hand was tightly pressing down on his nametag.
Suddenly, an announcement was made, “Wang Feng, out!”
Everyone was taken aback that someone had made a move so soon.
“Let’s go have a look!” Li Jiaming and Zhao Ning ran towards the source of the commotion.
An Wen asked, “Big Brother, Second Brother, should we go check it out too?”
“Bad idea, it’s dangerous for us to go to the crowd. It’ll be better if the three of us stayed together,” replied Xia Wei as he led the other two to search for more clues.
Finally, Xia Wei discovered a clue that stated: “Above the great river.”
“What does this mean?” questioned Tang Ting.
“Could it be the name of a song or a drama?” enquired An Wen.
Those few youths cracked their brains for a solution, but it was to no avail.
It was harmonious over here, yet a war had begun on the other side. He Jie discovered a clue that wrote “Grandpa Sun” and everyone immediately formed a joint attack against Xie Yan, the one who had played the role of the Sun during a stage performance. Eventually, after a fierce struggle, his nametag was torn.
Another announcement was made, “Xie Yan, out!”
“See, I told you so,” said Xia Wei. Second Brother and Third Sister, who were trailing behind, nodded in agreement. They then continued browsing the library for more clues.
They came face-to-face with He Jie and Chen Yuwen. The two parties grinned while greetings were exchanged. “Hi, Brother Yuwen and Brother He Jie!”
“Hello, guys!”
“Are we going to start ripping off each others’ nametags?” Chen Yuwen suggested out of the blue.
Chen Yuwen was the powerhouse of this variety show. His threatening tall build was the reason no guests have managed to tear his nametag in a fair fight before.
“No, no! We don’t have the courage!” said Tang Ting.
The three of them held onto their nametags as they made their retreat. A great fight was imminent. Zhao Ning and Li Jiaming also appeared out of nowhere. The remaining survivors had all gathered around.
It was obvious that both Zhao Ning and Li Jiaming were slowly approaching He Jie. Noticing that, He Jie started moving gradually to the side.
“Leader He, why are you moving to the side?” Zhao Ning enquired with a beam on her face.
The other person replied, “I was about to ask the reason you’re nearing me. What’re you planning to do, Zhao Ning?”
“I was suddenly reminded of the time you were the voice actor for the role of Grandpa Sun in that animation Off to School.” As soon as Zhao Ning finished speaking, the rest of them rushed towards He Jie, while the prey quickly took to his legs.
“It’s not me, I promise. Please don’t hurt the innocent.”
An Wen and her siblings also ran along with the others. He Jie was captured by Chen Yuwen and the former immediately laid down on the ground. It took an enormous effort for everyone to rip off his nametag. As expected, his nametag revealed his identity as a Heiyun tribe member.
“I was right, he’s the one!” exclaimed Zhao Ning.
“Teacher He, you’re really good at hiding this. We took down two of our teammates under your influence.”
